CD-prosjekter - Projects:
Den Mekaniske Harpe (instrumental-CD)
This is kind of a follow-up to "13 Umulige Danser" - with so many new tunes that I don't really know which ones to go for. Here are a few of them. (See also my Nye Skalder artist page).
- Salme Uten Ord. A hymn made for my my mother's funeral Oct 2009.
- Rokokko Rag. A scherzo for violin and piano in a kind of 18th Century style. Feb 08: I met a very good banjo player in a songwriter festval in Skagen, and inspired by his play I changed the piano into bass and banjo...
- Bagatell nr 10
- Short cello piece, 83 seconds. A short melody, played by a friendly cello-soul. Don't know if it's a candidate for the CD, but i like the cello.
- Bagatell nr 13
- Sirkusdans/Circus Dance (Nye Skalder). A happy "classical" tune with a street organ.
- Blå vals (Nye Skalder). Blue Waltz, a contemplative mood.
- Trommeslått (Nye Skalder). A folk-like tune with fiddle and drums.
- Den Mekaniske Harpe - with pizzicato violins and a mechanical harp.
- Tornerose - Music to a performance by Haavve Fjell from Pain Solution in Kunstnernes Hus (Artists' House in Oslo).
- Smaasporv (Small birds) - Impossible (?) ballet music. I did manage to play it once in Stockholm - with a minidisc as a stand-in for the piano player...
- Bare en Melodi - Just a melody, for guitar and violin. Guitar: Magnus Lilledahl.
Evergreen Dayflies (songs & crap jazz)
I always wanted to make at least one jazz-pop album in the early 30's style. These are some of the entries so far.
