Her Går DansenA folk style tune with a twist to the rythm, and a "rural" text... We made this song together, based on a folk theme from Rumania. Richard made most of the text which is about the importance of dance. Norway's most venerable acordeon player, Arnt Haugen, joined in the orcestra on this melody! Music by Øyvind Rauset. Lead song: Richard Burgess. Harding fiddle, synth bass: Øyvind Rauset. flute (recorder): Lars Just Nilsen. Accordeon: Arnt Haugen. Choir: Richard, Lars Just Nilsen, Marit Jordbræk. Recorded 1992 on a 4-track Teac reeltape recorder. Sound producer: Roald Thomesen. MP3 file: 2.5 MB, 160 Kb/s VBR (encoded with iTunes/Lame). |

About sound quality: The whole LP was recorded on a 4-track Teac, so when recording more tracks, the first four would have to be mixed down in stereo to another machine before recording the next two, and so on. This made it almost impossible to do a good final mix. |
