Eliminate distracting elements/surroundings and concentrate on physiognomy, body gestures, radiation, ambience. Ok, so I am looking for beauty! The lines of Rembrandt, the colours of Bruegel, the paper lamps of the japanese artist Shibata, Degas' ballerinas; fragile concentrates of nature. Landscapes, music, men: when you stumble over beauty, life is suddenly a little more worth living. You don't need to pick the flowers. You don't need to own the beauty to appreciate it.
