The Oslo Carnival was very popular in the 80's until it was outlawed (they said it was to much drunken people in the streets - so why not outlaw the national day as well?). For the carnival song competition I sent in this one, and it the public voted it to the 3rd place even without a text. "Spikersuppa" is a fountain near Oslo's main street Karl Johan.
It was even on "Norsktoppen" for 7 weeks (Norway's top 10 radio list).
